Recognising that the younger descendants of Cheong Whye Wee (Zhong Huai Hui) would almost all be familiar with the net and also to keep up with the times, so to speak, I thought that the family should have a web presence. Hence, the setting up of this site. Most of the content for this website was taken from a “booklet” on the Whye Wee’s Family Genealogy I came out with in 1990, and which was distributed to some members of the family whom I was in touch then. 17 years on, some of the content may be or is
already outdated, particularly the family tree charts, noting that the family
is now into its sixth generation. In this regard, this site can be considered as
a work in progress. Any information from family members, which
can help to correct, add to or update the contents of the site, will be
greatly appreciated. Thank you.
